Use pliers to hold the ring part firmly to prevent it from sliding, and then slightly expand it according to the gap of the slider to be inserted.
After passing the ring through the gap, re-clamp the ring and you're done!

If operated by hand, it may slip when applying force, and the pliers may pierce the hand, so do not use excessive force and tighten gradually to ensure safety.
